Minun nimeni on Dayron Napoles Rubant, olen tanssija Kuubasta.
Muutin Suomeen 1v. ja 4 kk sitten. Olen opiskellut suomen kieltä
Luksia-aikuisopistossa, ja osana kurssia teen suomen kielen harjoittelua Minun
nimeni on -projektissa Zodiakissa.
Projektissa on 10 ryhmää, joissa on eri ikäisiä ihmisiä
Itä-Helsingistä. Minä olen avustanut ja osallistunut työpajoihin, joita vetävät
Jenni Koistinen ja Sari Palmgren. Projektissa avustaminen on ollut mielenkiintoinen
kokemus. Olen nähnyt miten eri-ikäiset osallistujat ovat osallistuneet
projektin luomisprosessiin käyttäen kehon liikkeitä ja omia kokemuksiaan.
Nimien sanominen ja niiden merkityksestä puhuminen, liikkuminen ja
vuorovaikutus muiden kanssa vahvistavat heidän käsityksiään heistä itsestään,
muista ihmisistä ja ympäristöstä.
On hienoa, että kuka tahansa, jolla ei ole tanssijan taustaa,
on nyt voinut olla osana tanssiprojektia.

My name is Dayron Napoles Rubant. I am a dancer from Cuba. I moved
to Finland 1 year and 4 months ago. I have been studying Finnish language in
Luksia aikuisopisto, and as a part of my course I am doing my internship in
Minun Nimeni on project in Zodiak.
The project have 10 groups of people, from different ages and differents
parts of Eastern Helsinki. I have been assisting and participating in the
workshops, which are being led by the directors of the project Jenni Koistinen
and Sari Palmgren. Assisting on the project has been an interesting experience;
to see how participants of different generations have been involved in the
creation process by using their own body movements and own experiences. Saying
their names and talking about the meanings of their names, moving and
interacting with each other, strengthens their own perceptions of themselves,
of other people and the environment.
It is great that anyone, without having a background as a
dancer, has now been able to be a part of a dance project.

Mi nombre es Dayron Napoles Rubant. Soy bailarin graduado de de
la escuela de arte en Cuba. Estoy residiendo en Finlandia hace 1 año y 4 meses.
He estado estudiando la lengua finlandesa en Luksia “Instituto de Educación
para Adultos”. Como parte de mis estudios estoy haciendo mi entrenamiento en el
proyecto Minun Nimeni On en Zodiak “ Centro para la Nueva Danza”.
El proyecto esta formado de 10 grupos, con personas de
diferentes edades y diferentes partes del este de Helsinki, en el cual he
estado asistiendo y participando en los talleres dirigidos por los directores
del proyecto Jenni Koistinen y Sari Palmgren. Tomando parte en los talleres ha
sido una magnífica e interesante experiencia, ver cómo los participantes de
diferentes generaciones toman parte en el proceso de creación mediante el uso
de sus movimientos corporales y sus propias experiencias. Decir sus nombres y
hablar acerca de sus significados, moviéndose e interactuando unos con otros,
fortalece su propia percepción de sí mismos, teniendo en cuenta otras personas
y el entorno en el cual se encuentran.
Es magnífico el hecho de que cualquier persona, sin tener una
formación como bailarín, es capaz de ser parte de un proyecto de danza.
